RESTŌR Dentistry & Unwind

Orthodontics & Aligners · Islamabad

Straighter teeth,
a better bite.

Braces and clear aligners for children, teenagers and adults, led by Dr Rija Tehseen, Orthodontist (FOrth, MOrth RCSEd UK), at RESTŌR in F-7 Markaz.

What it treats

More than straight teeth.

The position of your teeth affects your bite, how easily you can keep them clean, and how your smile sits within your face.

01

Crowded or Overlapping Teeth

Teeth that twist or overlap, making them harder to clean and less even to look at.

02

Gaps Between Teeth

Spaces that have always been there, or that have opened up over time.

03

Bite Problems

Overbite, underbite, crossbite or open bite, where the upper and lower teeth don’t meet as they should.

04

Protruding Front Teeth

Upper front teeth that stick out, which can also leave them more exposed to knocks and injury.

Treatment options

Braces, aligners, and the right time to start.

Your orthodontist recommends the appliance that suits your teeth, your bite and your lifestyle, and explains why.

01

Metal Braces

Brackets bonded to the teeth and connected with a wire. Precise and reliable for simple and complex cases.

02

Ceramic Braces

They work in the same way as metal braces, with tooth-coloured brackets that are less noticeable.

03

Clear Aligners

A series of clear, removable trays made from a digital scan of your teeth. Discreet, but they need to be worn for most of the day.

04

Early Assessment for Children

An early check, often around the age of seven, can identify bite or jaw growth problems. Many children simply need monitoring.

05

Retainers

Removable or fixed retainers keep your teeth in their new position once active treatment ends.

FAQ

Questions patients ask.

How much do braces or aligners cost in Islamabad?

It depends on how much the teeth need to move, whether the bite also needs correcting, and the type of appliance. We give you a written plan and an exact fee after your assessment.

How long does treatment take?

It depends on the case. Your orthodontist gives you an estimated timeline once your records have been reviewed.

Am I too old for braces or aligners?

No. Adults can have orthodontic treatment at any age, provided the teeth and gums are healthy.

Aligners or braces: which is better?

Both work well when they suit the case. Aligners are discreet and removable, but rely on being worn for most of the day. Braces are fixed and suit a wider range of complex cases. We explain which suits you.

Will I need to wear a retainer?

Yes. Teeth naturally tend to move over time, and retainers protect the result of your treatment.

When should my child first see an orthodontist?

An early check around the age of seven can identify bite or jaw growth problems. Many children simply need monitoring, and treatment starts only when it will help.
