RESTŌR Dentistry & Unwind

Full-Arch Implants · Islamabad

Fixed teeth,
planned properly.

For failing teeth, loose dentures or missing teeth in one or both jaws: a complete set of fixed teeth on implants, planned and restored by Dr Omer Awan, Prosthodontist (FCPS), at RESTŌR in F-7 Markaz.

Who it’s for

When teeth can’t be saved, or dentures no longer work.

Full-arch treatment replaces all the teeth in a jaw with a fixed bridge held by several implants. It doesn’t come out at night, and it’s cleaned much like natural teeth.

01

Failing or Loose Teeth

Teeth affected by advanced gum disease, decay or fractures that can no longer be saved.

02

Dentures That Move

Removable dentures that slip, rub, or make eating and speaking difficult.

03

Most Teeth Already Missing

Gaps across one or both jaws that affect how you eat, speak and smile.

04

Told There Isn’t Enough Bone

A shrunken jaw doesn’t always rule out fixed teeth. See the options further down this page.

How we build it

Built to last, and to be looked after.

01

Multi-Unit Abutments

Every full arch at RESTŌR is built on multi-unit abutments, which connect the implants to the bridge at the right angle and height. We don’t build full-arch bridges on stock abutments.

02

Screw-Retained, Not Cemented

The bridge is held by small screws rather than cement, so your dentist can remove it for cleaning and maintenance, and no cement is left under the gum.

03

Titanium Bar with Zirconia

Our preferred final bridge combines a precision-milled titanium bar for strength and fit with zirconia for a natural, durable finish. Other options exist, and we explain which suits your mouth and bite.

Implant systems

The right implant for your plan.

We work with established implant systems at different tiers. Your prosthodontist recommends one based on your bone, your bite and your treatment plan, and explains why.

Resorbed jaws

Told you don’t have enough bone?

When teeth have been missing for years, the jaw shrinks. Rather than always rebuilding bone first, we can often anchor implants where dense bone remains, planned on your 3D scan.

01

Long, Angled Implants

Placed at an angle to bypass the sinus or nerve and reach solid bone.

02

Pterygoid Implants

Anchored in dense bone at the very back of the upper jaw, giving support without a sinus lift.

03

The Palatal Approach

Where the ridge is too thin, implants are positioned towards the palate, where more bone width remains.

Step by step

How treatment works.

01

Consultation and 3D Scan

We examine your teeth, gums and bite, take photographs and a CBCT scan to see exactly how much bone you have.

02

Digital Planning

Implant positions are planned around your bone and the final teeth. You receive a written plan with your options and fee.

03

Surgery and Provisional Teeth

Implants are placed under local anaesthetic. In many cases, fixed provisional teeth are fitted soon afterwards.

04

Healing

Over the following months, the implants bond with the bone while you wear your provisional teeth.

05

Your Final Bridge

A screw-retained titanium and zirconia bridge is made and fitted, followed by regular maintenance visits.

FAQ

Questions patients ask.

How much do full-arch implants cost in Islamabad?

It depends on the number and type of implants, whether bone support needs to be addressed, the abutments and the final bridge. You receive an exact, written fee after your consultation and scan.

Will I be without teeth during treatment?

In many cases, fixed provisional teeth can be fitted shortly after surgery. Whether this is possible for you depends on your bone and the stability of the implants, which we confirm during planning.

Is the treatment painful?

Implants are placed under local anaesthetic, and we explain aftercare and pain relief in detail before surgery. Most patients find the recovery easier than they expected.

How long do full-arch implants last?

With good planning, quality components, good oral hygiene and regular maintenance visits, a full-arch bridge can last for many years. Smoking and uncontrolled gum disease increase the risk of problems.

Do I need a bone graft?

Not always. Long, angled and pterygoid implants can avoid grafting in many cases. A CBCT scan is needed to know for certain.

Can the bridge be removed?

Only by your dentist. Because it is screw-retained, it can be taken out for professional cleaning and maintenance, then refitted.

Next step
